Handmade paper replica of a medieval knight's helmet. Western closed helmet from the early 15th century, evolved from an iron hat.
The sharply sloped top changed over the years into a broad face cover, which was stretched back so as to protect a part of the neck. In some cases, the neck cover consisted of articulated lames. The visor was hinged on two side-pins. A neck guard of the sallet fastened to the front armor plate, or was part of a plate gorget.
Our sallet replica is made of recycled cardboard, with a metal-colored finish. The helmet has a removable visor and a comfortable fit. It provides good visibility and easy breathing.
